Inspired Reading

It is very important when starting a business, or developing a passion that you read material that is going to inspire you. You need to get those creative juices flowing.

I recently came across Scott Ginsberg's blog that is packed full of great motivational tricks  and ideas. It's all about getting yourself into the right mindset to get out there and reach your full potential.

I try to do this kind of reading as much as possible and find, that by the time I'm done, I'm ready to take on that consistently growing To-Do List.

Introduction

Photography has been a passion of mine since I was about fifteen years old, when I was given my first digital camera. I tinkered and took photos of everything that moved; teaching myself about exposure, lighting and composition.

I believe in reality within photography. It is, after all, about recording real life. It is not about creating artificial situations and turning your subjects into something that they have never been. Photography is about waiting and knowing when to fire the shutter. You could have the best understanding of your equipment, the most expensive lenses and all the passion in the world, but still not know when you should be taking pictures.

My preferred medium is black and white. There's something about the textures and the deep contrasts that really appeals to me. There's nothing better than looking at a huge black and white canvas and just getting blown away at how gorgeous it is.
